History (by CrazyDave)

The Crazed Cahoots Company ([ccc] =CCC= ccc^ and other variations) was the creation of the deviously insane, CrazyDave (that’s me). Given birth to by the illict love child of insomnia, alcohol and boredom on the 14th December 2000 after I decided to leave the clan I’d only just joined as a complete n00b to online gaming. I began gathering members, somehow impressing them enough with my self made clan site and 56k modem/alcohol powered playing skills. Overtime the members came and went with such legends as Stukatto, Monolith, Virus, Nullifier, Showdown, Havoc, DarkOmen, Ping^Spike and so many others.

After working our way up through the lesser clans we started taking it to the top clans, gaining a good reputation in the EF scene. With our success and popularity (among some people at least :P ) we manage to split off into a Euro and US team, even adding divisions for other games at one point. And for a while all was good but eventually after several different members had acted as leader, the clan started to seperate out into new games or disappear completely. With that, the CCC finally died, even with a few attempts (by me :P ) to restart the clan, we never got it going again.

The USA division of the CCC eventually split off from the main clan and renamed themselves aKa, after some nonsense that I can’t really remember (was probably drunk or not there). Fair play to them they were a very good team and did themselves proud, as far as I know a few enjoyed binding a CCC tag to their names for a quick laugh. From what I’ve dug up they split and became RO which was hijacked by a lone member so the others reclaimed their CCC heritage for a while, until disbanding.

I’d like to thank all former members of the clan, yup all of you. From the ones that drove me mad, I’m looking at you Mace, to the ones that were just the coolest chilled out guys no matter what was happening and all the visitors to #ccc while I was actively there. If anyone wants to leave a message, feel free to using the form below, cheers, CrazyDave.

Fictional History (by CrazyDave)

Insanity, an illness of the mind that has plagued every life form in the universe since they evolved enough to think for themselves. Every civilisation has struggled with what to do with those afflicted with the nightmare that is their mind, trying death, torture, experimentation or imprisonment. Even with an advanced civilisation such as the Federation, there are still cases with no cure or treatment of any kind exists.

The Federation, althought high in its ethical standards, still has no choice but to imprison those it cannot cure. As with most societies, deciding to sweep this unwanted aspect of their life under the carpet, to be forgotten, locking those afflicted away in insane asylums, forgotten moon prisons, barren asteroids and elsewhere, out of sight, out of mind…

A group exists in the Federation, that’ll take actions without considerations to the ethics it lives by, protecting the way of life by any means, known as Section 31. This secret intelligence organisation needed agents who’d not consider the issues at hand, ignore the normal moral values that the majority of us have and do what needs to be done.

The very underbelly that society had swept aside was going to be used to protect against foes in ways no one wished to think about, let alone have any part of. Section 31 actioned the creation of the “Crazed Cahoots Company”, although not known as such at the time…
